Guest guest
Wow. Thanks for the compliments! I am flying in from Alabama on Thursday the 10th and will be at the Fairfield on Hillsbourgh Rd. My surgery will be on Friday the 11th and I CAN'T WAIT!!! It sure sounds to me like you only need to prove medical necessity. posted about that a few weeks ago, explaining that even if they will not pay the actual surgeon's fee(less that 4000.00)that you can sometimes prove medical necessity and get them to pay for the hospital, medications and all other related fees. I think that you will be able to get them to pay all of it, though. Just don't let them scare you off. I let them get me so upset that I just did'nt know what to do. Most of the time, it is just a matter of giving them the information that they need for approval(they usually won't tell you what that is, though). I'm sure that can help. You may want to go back sometime and read some of her posts about insurance. She is lindat*mindsprings.com, but is at the hospital in Durham(she lives in Alabama)this evening with a group of Michigan folks that are having surgery today. She helped all of them get approval.
