We use 2-3 slicers a week so that isn't a biggy would probly just use off the cookers. TIA Sandy M.
Guest guest
Hey Sandy! I use Roma Tomatoes for sauces, ketchup that sort of thing! I plant a couple cherry tomatoes for variety, in addition to the slicers. If you went out and bought soil, be sure to add a little lime. Guest guest
The paste tomato that I like the best is called " Big Mama " --I usually start it by seed. Not sure if you can find it as plants in stores--but you can order plants from Burpee--but expensive! I like it because they are definitely BIG which saves time when doing lots of canning--still solid inside. Rhonda daughter, UC Speaking of Tomatoes/Summer? |I am about to purchase my tomatoe plants.
