Guest guest
last message: .....I have tried hiding veggies in the burger and she always detects them and will no longer eat it. A couple of times I had an aweful time convincing her that the next meals of burger were plain. I had not thought about juicing though. She is very sensitive here also..... This is what we did with our once picky 4 year old...still picky but not as bad by far: Can you con her into eating a little by offering a honey treat if she eats a bit (not a whole serving...just a bite!)...telling her fun stories about how strong and healthy she is going to become.......and if she doesn't....she doesn't get the treat? If she does eat one bite....tell everyone how she is eating her veggies and how proud you are of her.....don't share that it was only a bite. Also Maybe take her to the store...and have her pick some veggies out...putting them in the bag...the whole works....with her in control of the issue...this helps my son. A year ago we had this very problem...went GFCFSF and depended on fruits, meats and veggies galore to get calories.....now SCD...a year later...he like some veggies...still picky but so much better! Make IT POSITIVE....DON'T THREAT...AND MAKE IT FUN. Smile and enjoy them in fron of here...making yummy sounds that are genuine! Food for thought, have a good day to all!
