July 11th Clinic (my visit)

Hi everyone,

Just got home from the land of oz and thought I would post before going

to bed. I want you all to know that it was fun meeting all of y'all and even

though I still don't have a date (due to no ins. approval yet!), I enjoyed

my visit. Dr. Rutledge is a very caring man and after my one on one with

him, I know he is the surgeon for me. He could have said go set your date as

soon as I get the ins. approval but he told me that he wants me to lose some

more weight. He wants me to have the best results, I am glad he didn't just

say yes. This means he really does care for me and my health, not just

getting paid.

I really enjoyed the dinner at the Cattleman's Steak House with everyone.

And really want to thank Barbara and Tom for being so kind to help me with a

good diet to start on. That includes the parsley tea recipe. I am starting

first thing in the morning and will let y'all know how it goes.

Susie, you are so beautiful. I love the way you glow. You are so bubbly

and bright! You make me think of yellow roses (my favorite). By the way,

you have a very nice (cute) son. I missed you knocking on mine and Lara's

door before you left for the hospital.

Kandy or is it Candy? Thank you for letting us taste test the Carafate

and talking to us after dinner. Thanks for letting us look at your room. I

think it is a really good deal for the price.

Am wishing everyone that had surgery Monday and Wednesday the very best

and good luck afterwards. Keep us posted on how you are doing. God Bless

Hi ... it's Debbie.. the one who was sitting next to you at Waffle

House with Robin. It was nice meeting you, and I feel the same way about Dr.

R. I must have convinced my hubby, he has supported me so far, but not with

much enthusiasm... Tonight, he told me that if I don't get insurance, then

we'll just have to self pay. Money is VERY important to him, so this was a

big step for him. I know you can get those extra pounds off, and after MGB,

you will be able to keep them off! Good luck with everything, hope you get

approved soon!

P.S. I agree with you about Susie, also... She is beautiful... absolutely

radiant!
