Hi,

A few responses. Do a search on 1998 and they will show up. Although

I haven't had any responses from any of these patients.

Kris, I did not receive your forward could you please send again? I got the

names off Dr R's post from 07/12 and looked up the local names in the phone

book.BINGO!She had her surgery 07/22/98 approx#190,when Dr R was at Chapel

Hill. She was a walking ad for MGB,literally. She carries her old photo w/ her

and shows it to people and tells her story. She began at 25,wt 360 5'4 " ,the

surgery took 2.5 hrs & no complications. She has had no problems

physically, would definitely do it again and she not only has been able to

maintain her wt loss. She has found it difficult to gain the 12 lbs her OB

has insisted on.She is 2 wks past her due date & weghs only 166.I will give

you her phone # as soon as I ask permission to post it.They will be

inducing if she has not begun labor by tomorrow,so it might be a wk or

so.Most of my questions were reguarding maintenance, since that is where most

of my concerns are.Hope this helps, remind me about the # if you get anxious.

Janet
