What a letter! Thanks, I am sorry if a felt like it was another flame. I certainly didn't intend for it to be a flame. I think Walter welcomes input, and I certainly do feel strongly about his continuing to represent people seeking this surgery. I was simply trying to express why I felt that way in an attempt to get him to reconsider. I know how desperate I felt when I was appealing my insurance denial, and I knew that I COULD pay if I had to. It was the most stressful part of my entire MGB experience, so it is near and dear to my heart. Many people don't have the option to self pay, so having the insurance cover the surgery is truly a life and death situation. Safe journey, MGB 03 MAY 00 Safely on the other side!!!! Plus in the last statement of his initial post INVITED flames. That post was meant to incite. Because a post is not pleasant DOES NOT mean is not useful or beneficial. Guest guest
Walter, I have to thank you for doing all that you can, to find out about this surgery..To me you sound like you are very open minded, and are willing to listen and learn about this surgery...Also it sounds like your main concern is, how safe this will be for us 10 or 15 years down the road..I do believe that this should be the main issue...Of course I want to have this surgery,,,but what are the complications down the road ??? no- one knows...It could be as dangerous as the breast implants. So please keep doing your research and get your all questions answered, then please let me know what the out come is....I would hate to have the surgery done, and then 10 years down the road I find out that I could possibly die due to complications from this surgery....It has not been around long enough to know what the outcome will be..I just want to be well informed and safe...Thanks for your concern,,michelle
Guest guest
Thanks for the supportive post...rather than have this topic continue to dominate the list and give certain people more excuse to call me names, Dr. Rutledge and I have taken the discussion private so that the issues I've raised can be dealt with in a professional and constructive fashion, which is what he and I both want. Thanks again.
