I'm wondering if what people are seeing as yeast from the honey could be

something else. When we were transitioning to SCD and trying out recipes

with honey and other legal food, I noticed Noah would always get red

ears and cheeks after eating honey. It got very noticeable once we fully

went SCD with the intro diet.

It doesn't happen anymore, but I suspect it was a phenol reaction. Is

honey high phenol by any chance? The other thing I considered was that

is was a reaction to another phenolic food being served with the honey,

like cooked carrots.

We are doing another OAT test, so will see if the yeast is back. His OAT

was good just before we started the diet so this will tell us if it is

yeast or something else.
