Guest guest
Dinah, I began eating jello, applesauce, graham crackers and saltines, and soup initially for the first couple of days, but I couldn't wait to test some of my old foods, so I started out with one krystal plain, with one piece of the bread folded. After a couple of bites, I was full and felt no desire to eat the rest of it until a couple of hour later, then i tried a kiddie adventure meal at Arbys and the same scenario. Initially, I craved some kind of sweets and ate the two chocalate chip cookies with no problem, then I even craved some chocalate and have eaten a full chocalate bard with almonds, and even a slice of cheescake, however, the effect from those foods weren't pleasing and after craving some Hamburger Helper and taking a couple of bites, I had a terrible nausea and wanted to barf up so badly, however, I lied down and I never want to eat Hamburger helper ever again. The same with popsickles, etc. Now after knowing how I feel afterward, I've pretty much gotten back into simple high protein shakes and very soft of light foods. Baked potatoes I handle well, but my appetite, as well as my cravings have disappeared and now I have to force myself to eat, but it is only a couple of tiny bites of the good kinds of food that are tolerable.
