Guest guest
Janet, What is the new enzyme? Thanks. Rhonda View of Die Off through a microscopic analysis | Well, we finally hit die off! And, I got to see what my son's blood | looked like during die off through a live blood microanalysis. | I am fortunate to have discovered a naturopath nearby who will examine | your drop of blood under a microscope and show you on a TV screen | what's going on inside the body. | I have done lots of these for family, especially my son, and this was | his craziest one ever! | He has high bacteria, yeast and parasite levels according to DAN doc | tests so he started flagyl last week then 3 days later vancomycin | (oral). | All was fine till the day after we added the vanco. Then we had the | diarrhea (coming after 2 days no poop- unheard of for my son!), the | huge green sneezes, frequent urination, achy legs, no sleep, very | tired, very pale. | I took him to the naturopath and his cells were all clumpy and slow (a | sign of low enzymes she said), full of cholesterol crystals (??!! | never in there before !!??), some toxins and putrified matter, several | decaying remnants of VERY large parasitic bodies (we counted 5 or 6 in | that one drop of blood), and lots and lots of little... BACTERIA... | buzzing around in there! All that antibiotic and we still have | bacteria in there?? | For once, no high uric acid or free radical damaged cells were visible. | Anyway, she gave me a new enzme to try along with adding Trigger | Immune by Nature's Sunshine - haven't checked legal stat on that. | Came home, mixed him up those two items in some manuka honey and | within an hour and a half he was feeling better and has been since | except for mushy poops still! I'm guessing the enzyme made such a | difference- I could never get over 1/4 a capsule w/out wheezing with | the one he's on- but this one I am able to give at meals and snacks | w/out trouble so far. I haven't even had to break out the activated | charcoal I bought for the die off. | Once the antibiotics are all done, we'll retest and see what they left | behind. | Janet, mom to Cody- age 5- leaky gut causing multi food allergies, | asthma (controlled by diet) and other issues- speech delay due to | chronic ear infections as baby- SCD since 4-17-06 and loving his | SCD " pumpkin pie " ! | Dairy & Soy free 3 yrs, GF plus more 2+ years, on MB12 shots 1 1/2 | yrs, currently on flagly and vancomycin then an upcoming 30 days of | diflucan | | | | | | | | | | | | | For information on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, please read the book _Breaking the Vicious Cycle_ by Elaine Gottschall and read the following websites: | http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info | and | http://www.pecanbread.com | | | | |
Guest guest
Well that is simply fascinating...do they call this something specific? > > Well, we finally hit die off! Guest guest
Our naturopath's listing in our old phone book listed her as a " Certified Microanalysis Technician " I think I've seen it referred to in books before as " dark field microscopy " (???maybe something like that???) or live blood ananlysis. I've dragged in so many family members to see what's actually going on inside them and no two person's ever looks the same. Interestingly, about a third of them have parasites that they were totally unaware of, yet no two parasites the same! It's $50 for the test and $25 for each time you followup. Guest guest
Once they identify the parasites, have they been able to eradicate them? Where is your naturopath located? Guest guest
Rhonda, It's called Daily Essential Enzymes by Source Naturals. I'm not sure of the legality yet, since I haven't looked it up- but it says " contains no yeast, dairy, egg, gluten, corn, soy or wheat. Contains no sugar, salt, preservatives, or artificial color, flavor or fragrance. " I don't know if he is suddenly tolerating enzymes better because of the healing done so far on SCD or if this is a really great product suited for his needs. I thought we'd tried them all so was pleasantly surprised to find this one priced at only $9.25 for a bottle of 60 capsules at my local health food store! Guest guest
All that did the recommended treatment and followup visit had them gone, including myself (except my son!) He couldn't tolerate even a 1/4 dose of the kid's version of a parasite cleanse product w/out severe wheezing requiring his rescue inhaler so I knew he still had some, just not that many or that large! A person I know was very sick after having to be at the Mayo Clinic for a lengthy time w/ a loved one. She developed asthma and was really unwell. The ND found she had an odd type of parasite usually only found in undeveloped countries that she apparently picked up at the M.C. or possibly the airplane. She was treated, came off all inhalers and is vibrantly healthy today. My naturopath is located in Virginia. Guest guest
All she said was that they were " quite large " ! I had brought my digital camera to capture images like my friend did, but I just sat there with my mouth agape looking at those nasty things! The doc is treating Cody with Flagyl for bacteria and I read it also kills parasites so that is probably why there is such a large number and why they were all dead or decaying. OR maybe SCD is finally getting rid of the little buggers? She has a variety of treatment options. The one I used didn't cause stomach discomfort or anything like that at all like I expected. But, I do know some of them make you go to the bathroom- a lot! Janet, mom to Cody- SCD since 4-17-06 and loving it! > > What kind of parasite? ewwwwwwwwww... I so dislike parasites... Guest guest
Sometimes this test is called " live cell analysis " . I had this done years ago. At one appt the doc was called away for a while just after he prepared the blood slide, and he invited me to look through the microscope while he was gone. (The microscope view was much better than the TV view.) I felt like I was watching a science special about my own blood! The white blood cells were absolutely fascinating and nobody can convince me white blood cells aren't aware and intelligent creatures. At first the WBCs were contracted into perfect little circles, absolutely still. They seemed to sense that something had changed drastically -- and it had -- they were outside my body now! After a while they starting cautiously moving around, looking around, oozing between RBCs etc., then as they became comfortable they got quite active and busy. I fell in love with the little guys. Then I realized that they would all soon be dead, because of course they were outside my body and weren't going to be put back in -- it made me quite sad, actually.
