Do a Google search for several additional sources of information in addition to the one provides above. Carol F. SCD 6 years, celiac
Guest guest
> > Went to site....if we are going to heal out of most of our allergies and intolerances, thanks to our gut finally healing...should I even worry about this? Well, I don't worry about it, but I think everyone's situation is different.
Guest guest
, Sometimes allergens are difficult to pinpoint because the reactions are not immediate and/or obvious. Someone having those reactions may have a harder time healing, even with SCD (unless you do several good tests and avoid all the foods). But avoidance is difficult when there are too many allergies and too few foods left. So, getting rid of some allergies can be the answer for some people. I have heard that NAET is not always effective and it depends on a good match between the practicioner and the patient. For us, it was worth the try. Guest guest
My daughter has not progressed as expected on SCD though she certainly improved greatly on it in her early months. Recently I made a list of every possible thing that I could think of that could have sabotaged her progress, and took it to our NMT practitioner for testing. The ONLY THING that tested positive for having impeded her progress on SCD was FOOD ALLERGIES. If I had it to do over again, I would put my daughter on a rotated diet in the early weeks of SCD as soon as she was eating enough different foods to do a rotation. We did NAET for 9 months starting when my daughter was about 3 months old, and treating many, many foods plus pollens, dust, etc. The treatments definitely helped. But NAET can " wear off " and at least some of my daughter's treatments evidently did that. I'm wondering if homeopathic treatment for vaccine effects would help clear allergies. I think vaccination dysregulates the immune system bigtime. So for anybody in doubt about " worrying about allergies " , well, I wish I'd worried more about them and done more about them. They definitely sabotaged us on SCD. I know healing the leaky gut generally heals alot of allergies (at least after all the allergic antibodies have died off, which can take months) -- but allergies can greatly impede the healing of the leaky gut. It gets to be a vicious cycle all its own. Kayla
Guest guest
We did NAET a long time ago for food allergies. How can this procedure rid the body of mercury?
