HELP!!!!! I need help with pre-op shopping list!

OK - I have been waiting to the last minute to do my shopping . . and now

I have questions after studying the manual!!!

#1: Are Carafate and Prilosec prescription drugs? If so, will Dr. R prescripe

them on discharge?

#2: I know Donna asked (and got) a chart of times to take the specific meds

and organized nicely, but can I also get some stories of how you post-oppers

dealt with taking all of these meds with each of their restrictions?

#3: How long post op do we have to take all of this stuff? I know the

vitamins and citrucill are life long committments, but what about the rest?

I could use some help ont his end, maybe I am just LOOKING for something to

get all anxious over, but I am really getting stressed out LOOKING at all of

this stuff!!!

PS - It looks like I'll make it to the last supper Monday night to all of my

littermates and the 19th littermates!!!! How far away is Daryls from

Fairfield? Hubby made arrangements to get off work early : )
