Guest guest
My son will be going into the hospital in May for about 10-14 days. I would love any ideas about foods to take that will keep. I will have the use of a shared frig/freezer for about the 1st week, and a small dorm size frig the 2nd week. Its a lot to expect my husband to consistently remember to bring food from home when he buzzes by the house (our DS is having a seriuos operation and all thoughts will be at the hospital) I have been on scd a month. I tolerate all meats, cooked: apples, carrots, squash, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, apples, pears, peaches, uncooked: bananas, avacodos, smoothies mixed completely smooth (but I won't have my vita-mix:-( ). I think I tolerate the pecan flour, and the fine almond flour, coconut milk, eggs and yogurt. I also just sprung my dehydrater from layaway, even though I might not be ready for so much dried food I thought it might be better than not being SCD. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
