Regarding that subject. I think we are on to something. I am a working mom.

Actually I just started a new and very demanding job. I haven't even had time to

finish reading " the book " yet. Though I know to my core this is the right avenue

towards finding the light for my son. My mom and her fiance are reading the

book because it has literally saved the lives of my stepsister's (to be) family.

I want to do this diet but feel like it is too much. I don't have a choice but

to work full time and I have 2 hours from the time I get home to the time it is

bed to get food on the table, baths and homework done (ADD issues) and we are

just in 1st grade!. I am hoping that the routine of summer helps to some degree.

I would also be interested in hearing from other working mom's who somehow

manage to make it work.

Hugs,

Michele

Hi Michele I also am a working mom working 2 hours each way from home. I

leave the house at 5.30 am and I am not home until 6.00 pm, so I totally

understand where you are coming from. I have two children and a wonderful

husband, he is Mr. Mom this is the role he plays in the morning with getting

the kids up and ready out the door to daycare and then they go to school. He

also has to picks them up in the evening as the day care is closed by the

time I get off the train. So, its hectic!!

I usually cook and bake at the weekends. I cook enough that I can freeze

some individual portions as well as larger portions that I can ue over a

couple of days. I know its hard, I get so frustrated when I run out of

cookies and breads and I have to get home and start baking at 7.00 in the

evening, plus dinner, homework and baths all to start over again for the

next day, but this is a choice I have made for the benefit of my son Cullen

who is PDD(NOS) and he has been on the diet for 11 mos now and is doing

great.

So, try to plan out your weekend, once you get used to the flours and the

baking times, its tricky at first, you'll be old hat before you know it.

You will also find that you have free time for you and your kids but that

comes later! Don't get me wrong its not easy but you'll get there. Love &

Which recipes do you use? Which ones are really good to try? I am

overwhelm as to which ones to try? Any recommendations would be highly

appreciated? Especially the bread and cookies.

Thanks,

Kathrina
