Is Meyenberg goat milk powdered really SCD Legal? I got the

impression that any pasturized milks would not be? Am I wrong? I

already give my children this goats milk to drink, so if I can use

the same source to make yogurt that would be helpful. Any info

appreciated.

thanks

Pasturized milk is not a problem for SCD. Some people believe that

raw milk is best, but that is not an SCD issue. SCD is concerned

about the type of carbohydrates consumed.

Where I live it is illegal to purchase or sell raw milk for human

consumption. So, we have always used pasturized milk.

So, yes, the Meyenberg powdered milk is fine to make yogurt with, but

be sure to reconstitute it correctly before turning it into yogurt.

And just a reminder, fluid milk cannot be consumed on SCD. The milk

must be turned into yogurt for this diet.
