This is true in many other areas of life, too, I think. I could never please

all the " Mother Superiors " out there when it came to my competence with my

babies. " Shouldn't she be bundled up, dear? " " Is she old enough to be

eating that? " " Isn't it way past her bedtime? " " Well, in my day, dear.... "

Geesh, why do people do this?

By and large, I find people are entirely too willing to give you

their

tedious and frequently ignorant views on WAY too much. I try to

practice a kind of judicious crankiness - it works nicely to keep the

mouth-breathers at a distance. I mean, my Mum and my sister are very

supportive, so I'm talking it all over with them, but the rest -

PTHTH!
