It was our experience that enzymes with protease can be harmful if

one has KNOWN damaged to the intestinal lining. Elaine, our GI

specialist and even Dr. Houston himslef warns against this If you

have errosive colitis, advanced celiac disease or serious

malbsorption that is known to be caused by red and inflamed " sores "

in the gut. thsi is our experience....sadly didn't know this when

we first experimented with enzymes. Now our intestines heal and

don't need them anyways....they are doing the job for us.

---I try to give him pineapple in his final drink of the day or my

other option is papaya juice. I'd read that these are natural

digestive enzymes. Today he is constipated so I don't know what's

going on now. He eats and drinks very little most days.

Yes, my experience with doctors and specialists has been less than

helpful. some of them I think, thought I was some kind of crazy mom

for putting my child on this diet and they could not help me at

all. I will press onward. Thanks.

I would be interested in reading these links, but only one of them,

the ectomorph male, works. Tried going to the Adamo website and

pasting in the links but that didn't work either. Does wiki stand for

wikipedia?

maybe it's the firewall on this computer, gives me fits! I will try

emailing your post to myself and see if I can open them out of there.

Most curious to see what he has to say about this stuff, since it is

what turned me off the book.
