I believe that we need to always be gracious toward others that are or have gone through many trials and are healing. We can tell them that they should sound this way or that way but the truth is we are not going to change someone else. This is asking for them to change their personality/who they are. I for one get very excited when I see a little more of my son emerge and he is not even on the spectrum. We were dealing with some very difficult things though and when you see those thing fall off for a mom, at least this mom, it is emotional. I guess I thought that this was a safe place to express that but it definitely is emotional at times. Not wanting to start a message war but did want to express my feelings here, emotional or not.
