Guest guest
Coleen, Try some yummy broth. I never liked beef broth before surgery but mmm it was good after and tomato soup is a big winner to. Have some cracker with it. Congratulations on your surgery! Trisha
Guest guest
Hi Coleen, I had cold things right after surgery and I didn't have any problems. I didn't know we weren't supposed to have cold things. Just listen to your body. The worst problem I had was what I called an air bubble in my tummy that liked to move around and hurt a little when I swallowed. Congratulations on the surgery. Guest guest
--- YEAH Coleen! Congratulations!...I didnt know we werent suppose to have cold things, especially when they gave us ice chips in the hospital? I would try to just warm it up a bit in the mouth before you shoot it down. I did not have a smoothie until the 2nd week. I stuck with Broths the first week into yogurts and crakers...... Good luck Go slow, and you'll start to learn all about your new tummy! Guest guest
YAY! I was asking for an update about you yesterday and didn't hear anything. I'm glad you are on the other side and doing so great!! Where did you read that about no cold things? I missed that. For me, cold things were really delicious, and from day one, at the hospital, they bring you ice chips and cold juices. I've been a sugar-free popsicle addict since about week 2. Kind regards, > I am home from the hospital and feeling great. ( A little hungry) > But I am already feeling 100% better than before the surgery.
