Which foods does he react to? How long have you been on SCD? Did you do

the introduction diet?

Are you basing your conclusions about the food sensitivities on his reactions as

it does not

appear that you did tests?

My own tests showed nothing ;yet I had bad reactions to a number of foods which

I now

tolerate, nuts, eggs, dairy, even chicken. As I got along a few weeks into the

diet, having

eliminated the rice and rye bread the doctor allowed on his elimination diet, my

tolerance

began to increase. It can still be unpredictable if I get a patch of low

resistance or illness

but overall there is much I can eat (exception foods that are incompatible with

latex

allergy. One of these days I am going to cautiosly test a few.

My suggestion, substitute butternut squash for carrot if it is a concern. The

soup will taste

the same.. Nuts can be reserved for another trial down the line. You are giving

nutritious

foods. Try making a meatloaf using chicken that is ground and sneak in some

pureed

vegetables.
