Guest guest
I think you misunderstood me...what I meant was..what if something happened to Dr. R and one of us was having trouble. Is there another surgeon that could help us or reverse this surgery if necessary? That was my question...

Guest guest
Yes, there would be. The trick is finding one to do it laparoscopically. However, in that list I've posted a few times, there's a doctor that does about 36 gastro procedures laparoscopically http://www.transmed.net/lapnet/lapmenu.htm (he also covers the Billroth II)so I'm sure he is one who could. Likewise, any of the doctors doing RNY lap should also be able to reverse it. The Billroth II is taught at all the medical schools, so it shouldn't be that hard to find someone who could reverse it.
