Guest guest
, Jeni Lynn, et al: I think that you are on the right track: room and board for live in help...I will take a trainee anytime. Maybe some schools or institutions are in need of homes for students to practice in...? Do we have time/energy for another project to get up and running? how about our SCD Pals? Cara Re: Becoming a DAN! " What are other ways I could get involved and help? " Hi ! This is my thought. You can come live with our family (assuming that you don't already have one you are attending to) and be a great big help with cooking meals (wink, wink)! I am drowning here in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley under all the things I am trying to juggle (research, appointments, homeschooling, house maintenance, biomedical treatments, and SCD). Wouldn't it be my dream come true to have an extra pair of hands in the kitchen and an extra brain to troubleshoot yeast flares and the like. We have a little efficiency apartment in our basement, and you would be helping 3 of the most beautiful and wonderful children in the entire world to heal! I promise you would fall in love with them within 10 minutes! This offer isn't a joke . . . we could use your " involvement and help " if you wanted to make an arrangement.
