Guest guest Posted July 24, 2000 Report Share Posted July 24, 2000 Hi: I'm afraid that Bernadine went on by herself today - Dr. R. put my surgery off until we can determine whether I am allergic to latex. !!! He was very kind about it, but absolutely firm that he could not proceed under the circumstances. I can live with that. I'm disappointed, but I understand the gravity of such an allergy. I've always been kind of sensitive to latex, but no one - til today - characterized it as a possible allergy. So...I'm headed back home tomorrow, with a new surgery date of August 9, allergies permitting! Thanks for all the love and support from all of you. Have some fun this week, you Durham partyers!
