Guest guest
I like and many others will be leaving the list, it the last little bit this list has taken a turn for the worst. Instead of being primarily a forum for joint learning it has in fact become a mini online Soap Opera. I worry for many of the desperate mothers out there that are desperately trying to find help for their children and must work to dig through all the drama that has appeared here. Healing is not a fight it is a learning experience. I truly do admire you all that work so hard to heal your children. It has inspired me and I still do plan on doing something to aid the autism community. Please feel free to contact me at lkpetrolino@... I would love to continue to learn and share with you all. Please also remember that if there was one ultimate finite answer to every problem the healing process would not be so challenging and so long. Please listen to your intuition, your body, your children's reactions and use them, not hearsay as your guide. Good luck _________________________________________________________________ On the road to retirement? Guest guest
To anyone thinking of leaving the list....please don't. So many of us are moms who love their kids like crazy and will do anything to help them.....factor that in and sometimes things can get emotional but there are so many of us who need your experience and expertise. My son is 5, dx with autism at age 2. two months later my husband lost his job....6 months after that we left everything and moved 7 hours away to enroll him in an ABA program. After that GFCFSF, many tests, supplements, you know the routine. Anyway, SCD has given us quicker results than anything!! I also did the diet with my son (I have rheumatoid arthritis and have been dealing with anxiety and irritability for several years myself). Wow, did I feel better....was able to cut back on my meds when before if I missed one dose I could really tell....(that's scary to be so dependent upon pills) Anyway, I am not a super mom....only doing what pretty much anyone of you would or have done to help your kids. My point is, please realize we all can become desperate and emotional because look at what's at stake....it's our babies!!!!! Is there anything that can make us feel or do what we feel and do because of the love we have for our children?!?! Not for me and I bet not for you either. There are so many moms just like me who really appreciate and need the input of thoise who have " been there and done that " so please don't leave us! Deanna and sweet little boy Mikey. davis wrote: , NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Guest guest
People thinking of leaving, you could just set your membership to web only, go in through the web, and only read the posts you want to, not have them all come into your email. Then you don't have to be bothered by anyone whose posts you don't like and you would still get the benefit of the list and be able to post.
