beware sugars in table salts

Dear all:

We noticed dextrose and sugar in the list of ingredients for commercial table

salts. Two of the brands were Windsor salts, and Fino salt (round container.)

We had to look hard for a brand that contains just salt (+/- iodine.) Thought

you might want to check your supply of salt...Just loving the food industry

(hmmph!)

Kosher salt is no different than any other salt other than it usually has no

additives, like

iodine, and has large crystals with big surface areas.

There were several brands posted (last week I think) by several

different members.

We use Cerulean Sea salt.

Very tasty.
