Guest guest
Last week or so i reposted a message from Mimi (if there are archives, check them under recoverymaze for the original post) about this. If you can't find it, let me know. Take care, Fay On Thu, 30 Mar 2006 01:06:12 -0000 " theminters1 " writes: > Yeast thrives on sugars. How is this diet useful to help rid the body > of yeast? Guest guest
There are some enzymes made specifically for " eating " yeast. Candex is one, Candidase another. I know you can get Candidase from NEEDS (mail order, Syracuse NY, on the web). Best given between meals. Watch out for illegal ingredients! I checked out at least one yeast-eating enzyme, can't remember the brand, and it was ILLEGAL due to some ingredient. Kayla
Guest guest
Does anyone know whether Candex or Candidase are legal? I think Elle's yeast is a bit more under control, but she does still have it (probably due to chelation even though it is transdermal). Guest guest
Sorry, Jody! I don't have the ingredients because I don't have the product. I was trying to find out if they were legal before I made the purchase. Is there anybody on list that already uses Candex or Candidase that can attest to their legality? If not, I will try to look up the products and find the ingredients later today. Jeni Lynn Re: SCD and yeast " Does anyone know whether Candex or Candidase are legal? " Can you post the ingredients? It saves me a lot of time if people post the ingredients to products they are interested in. Thanks! Guest guest
" There are some enzymes made specifically for " eating " yeast. Candex is one, Candidase another. " No Fenol will do this as well. I am wondering if that could be a contributing factor in some people saying that their kids stools are looser on No Fenol. Perhaps it is an issue of the enzyme killing some yeast as well. You can read a TON of information on the enzyme stuff website. http://www.enzymestuff.com Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/

Guest guest
Candex and Candidase and both SCD legal. Candidase doesn't not contain rice bran (No-Fenol does). Candidase doesn't have any fillers at all. Please note there are two different versions of Candex out. In the US, it does not contain proteases and 'no proteases' is advertised as plus. In the UK, Candex does have proteases and it is advertised as a plus. same company, just marketing the opposite in different countries. Yeast cells have both celluloses and proteins so both the cellulases and proteases would be helpful (those are the two types of enzymes in Candidase). In the past 8-10 months, there has been a trend posted on different message boards where using Candidase with Candex OR Candidase with No-Fenol give better results. You can rotate them when dosing. . Guest guest
Thanks for the reply. Our DAN recommended use of these, but I wanted to double-check the legality of them. My kids have shown significant improvements since I have ousted the illegal supplements (even while chelating), and I do not want to return to our prior gut position. Guest guest
Hi ! How do you implement rotation of these anti-fungals? How many days with how many different anti-fungals? Guest guest
>>> How do you implement rotation of these anti-fungals? How many days with how many different anti-fungals? If you give enzymes in the morning and again in the evening, you can give one brand in the morning and the other one in the evening. Some people give one brand one day and the other brand the next. Nothing set in stone, just go with what is convenient. .

Guest guest
Hi , Candidase at NEEDS which I think is www.needs.com Candex, I don't know but NEEDS might have it. Great Plains Lab (you can find them & ph # on the web) may be able to tell you where to find Candex. Sorry I don't have better info. Have you tried a web search on " Candex " ?
