Guest guest
last message about viruses: Well actually unless you have strep you should not be on antibiotics.....You are better to let it run it's course..... To whom can help our little Silly Yak with an ear infection, Our situation is a little different...Been fighting an ear infection for over a week. Now using garlic ear drops and Echinacea...and taking SCD safe antibiotics...and probiotics for what that is worth (since antibiotics kill the good guys too!). Been contemplating taking him off the darn stuff....his diarrhea is out of control...fear clostridium and all the bad guys getting the good hand again...having horrible set back in behavior....he is aggressive, sick and crying all the time.....pooping his pants too! Will be getting a ear vibrating thing...to see if we can drain the darn things ourselves! Coming in the mail. This is the first ear infection in over a year and a half (this is how long we where cow free!)...cheated on SCD safe cow cheese and PAID! ARG!!!!! Any suggestions! They/antibiotics don't seem to be working anyways! Thanks, Antoinette (mother to 4 year old celiac/asd/2 months down the drain for one of our Silly yaks!) Guest guest
I would ask you Doc for antibiotic eardrops.. and switch over asap... It will help with the localized problem and leave the gut out of it.. In future I would ask for antibiotic ear drops..They work very well..for ear drops..;-) Good luck..Another thing people have had huge success with is candleling(spelling?) Can get at whole foods co op...I have not been as sucessful and worry about fire..the blaze is pretty good..but I do know people who swear by them...;-) > > last message about viruses: Well actually unless you have strep you should not be on antibiotics.....You are better to let it run it's course..... > > > > To whom can help our little Silly Yak with an ear infection, > > Our situation is a little different...Been fighting an ear infection for over a week.
