Guest guest
Canned veggies are not legal, but is bamboo a veggie? I wasn't sure what category it is listed under(grain, veggie...) After a little research, I found it was in the evergreen family. Would bamboo be legal if it was fresh. After a little research, I have learned that when it is cooked, it becomes crunchy. My son would love something curnchy! Thanks. > > > > Is canned bamboo legal and how is it best cooked? > > > > > It is not legal. This can lead to hydrogen cyanide exposure and its related toxicity. Canned bamboo is not legal on the SCD diet. use asparagus instead. Carol F.
