Guest guest
Here's an interesting link to info on Elidel. Anyone heard of this? http://community.icompact.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=53;t=001369
Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to the group. Yes, I use Elidel for rosacea. I was just diagnosed a month ago, and my dermatologist said this is a relatively new treatment and talked about the fact that there were no steroids in the cream. I had no idea why he was telling me all that until I went and did some research on rosacea and steroid creams. It seems to work very well, although I have nothing to compare it to, my being so newly diagnosed. I know my skin is much less red, smoother, more " normal " looking. I also use Klaron, and apply both twice a day, usually morning post-shower and again right before bed. -Gwen > Here's an interesting link to info on Elidel. Guest guest
Tina, all I know is that it's a new topical non-steroidal anti- inflammatory -- its been out for less than a year, I believe -- which means we don't know the longterm effects of its use or how it affects rosaceans. Unlike Gwen's experience, I don't believe most dermatologists are using it for first-line treatment in rosacea. There isn't more about Elidel in the searchable archives?
