Dear Friends,

Thank you all for your kind words. Well it has been a hellova night and

day. I can only find humor in the end result. The radiologist that was

to read the cat scan today at 9:00 AM was not coming in until 3:00,why I

don't know. I must admit I did become a bit hysterical. My PCP was also

leaving at 3:00 so there would be no medical clearance for me as my plane

is leaving Monday for Durham. SO.......I took my copy of the film to a

wonderful old friend of mine who is a top notch radiologist. Should have

done it yesterday but did not want to impose. He being a sweetheart

said, the only mistake you made was not coming to me in the first place.

He was right, but my Ins did not cover him not that he would have cared

one bit. Anyway...he looked at that film in his gorgeous waterfront

home, and looked and turned, and looked and flipped and looked some

more. He said as he is looking " oh yea, I see exactly what the problem

is here. As my heart sunk to my knees he looked at me and said. "

Susie..it's .......F_A_T !!!!!!! IT's better known as Fat Pads that are

pushing up my lungs. I never laughed so hard in my life, there were

tears but I couldn''t tell if they were from happiness or relief. He

said " this surgery is the best thing in the world for you and those

little fat pads will soon be on their way! " Under the circumstances, it

could not have been a better diagnosis. I ran to my pcp and she was

waiting for the results from the lab and was not budging. At 3:25 out

they came from her fax machine. The other radiologist faxed his report

and across the top was written ...FAT PADS. I told my son, the fat

doesn't know where to go anymore, it's showing up everywhere LOL..So my

friends.. my bags are ready and so am I. I will pray that everyone will

have their surgery, because I really know how much it means. Love to
