Just wanted to second what the two of you have said here. I also sent

letters directly to the email addresses provided on clos.net, and introduced

myself and asked permission to send them my MGB questions. Nearly everyone I

contacted wrote back with lengthy replies.

It's also a good idea to follow up with a thank-you. These responses take

time, and some people serve as contacts for more than a dozen people.
