Kathie, I think a lot of people end up going alone. I'm still

undecided if I want my husband to go with me or not. He wants to go

but he is a " hovering " type and I dont like that when I'm not feeling

well. Whether he comes or not, we can all pal around together if we

get the same dates. I'm not sure when I'll get all my ducks in a row

either, but I'm hoping for soon in August. I'm sure someone will be

there and ya'll can link up after you get a for sure date. Get busy

girl!

Those of you who plan to go it alone should talk to le and to

. Both

came alone, both did not think it was a problem.

Those who don't want to come alone should talk to me. I don't think that I would

have

wanted to be in Durham alone once I was discharged. I needed someone to " baby "

me and

my sister fit the bill perfectly! She lives there and my husband and I stayed

with she and her

husband. I think I just needed someone to run to the drugstore for me and to

baby me a little.

I'm not a loner and in fact can get depressed if I feel lonely. I would not have

wanted to do

this alone.

Just my take...le and did just fine by themselves. You know what

kind of person

you are and what you need and want...

Talk to T, first get as prepared as you possibly can and I m

certain there will be support for you! Duke Towers is the most

convient place for the person taking you too and from hospital.
