Does anyone know if there are ever any last minute surgery dates available? My

daughter

Drema's packet is being overnighted tomorrow and next week would be the ideal

time for

her to have surgery should Dr. R approve her packet.

Thing is, I would be available to keep the kids, her husband would be available

to come with

her, my sister would be available for her to stay there, and other weeks we

looked at we

found one snag or another...any of which we will work out when we get a date, no

matter

what! But next week sure would be the best week to do it!!

We know insurance will pay because they are paying my bills and we have the same

insurance policy, federal blue cross and blue shield.

Have any of you ever gotten to go at the last minute?

Hmm, Flo, I think Joanne in Tennesse got lucky and got a date within about 3

or 4 days of her surgery, didn't she? It was pretty close, no more than a

week or so, I'm pretty sure. Can't hurt to call and ask Debbie! Good luck!

I know this was a long time ago but I was notified on May 25 that I was approved

and my surgery

was 6-2. Do they do standby? Every once in a while someone gets postponed for

some reason.

Dr. Bill was postponed a few days and some of our group jumped ship to earlier

times. Right

Call Barb at the office and ask. I was scheduled for July 19. Someone

canceled and I got July 12.
