Guest guest
Many thanks Suzanne, and everyone! This is all so useful. I will definitely be cautious about acidosis (thanks very much for sharing your experiences Suzanne). I'll also avoid using any starter kits. The Healing Crow website and Yahoo group Judy pointed me to have got just what I was looking for (SCD + fermented and also informed by Weston Price/ " Nourishing Traditions " ). I'll study this so I can make sure the fermentations we try fit in with SCD, good bacteria etc. I'm so pleased to hear your comments on " Nourishing Traditions " . I think I am finally beginning to understand about what is _good_ food and also how to cook. (But yes - this isn't an SCD book so you do need to just take from it what you can or to adapt things). Thanks again everyone Sandy > > Not to discuss other diets unduly, but I do want to note that we did > the Body Ecology Diet for 8 months before starting SCD.
