Packet almost complete! Insurance approved!

Greetings all!

I just wanted to update everyone on where I am in this journey. My

packet is almost complete! I am waiting for my doctor's letter and

my test results. I am hoping that I can talk her into finishing her

letter on Tuesday (and send the results when they get here)!

The thought of this surgery and my process of getting to it never

seems to completely leave my thoughts. I am so impatient. Does any

one else have August 16 as their surgery date yet? I know there is

Beth and Dinah so far. Any body else? That is the date I am really

hoping for. I teach computer classes and that is one of the only

free weeks I have without having to cancel a class. I have been

fretting and worrying about getting this date. I finally realized

that if I do not get that date, it will not be the end of the world!

Okay, that may not be so profound to everyone else, but it was like

an epiphany to me! (There has got to be some other obsessive-

compulsive types out there, right?).

So, I am still hoping for the 16th, but I will take what I can get

and be thrilled!

I don't post a lot, but I love reading everyone's experiences. Thank

you all for your words of comfort and guidance. Welcome to all the

newcomers on the list.
