Guest guest
We had that experience when we started the diet, but I can't say more than that. It got better over time. He would eat right before bed; usually the yogurt with honey and fruit and/or some kind of meat. It's true, some children WILL appear to be starving themselves. Maybe his tummy doesn't feel right . Is he passing bm's? My son wouldn't eat if he was constipated. Sorry that I can't be of any more help. gwen luca-3 SCD 2.5months second time around for digestive issues. theminters1 wrote: Has anyone else's child developed a loss of appetite since they started the diet? My 3 yr old son has been on the diet for about 2 months (with success!). He has very little interest in food, to the point he rarely eats more than a bite at each meal. Two weeks ago, he had a blood sugar " attack " (hypoglcycemia) For information on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, please read the book _Breaking the Vicious Cycle_ by Elaine Gottschall and read the following websites: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info and http://www.pecanbread.com
