Ideas for cherry juice?

We bought the knudsen black cherry juice from the just juice line and nobody

likes it!! It's too expensive to waste so I wondered if anyone had made

jello from it with a little honey? Maybe it would tone down the flavor... I

guess we're all too used to the typical fakey black cherry flavor that the

real stuff isn't appealing!

Hi Robbie.

We hated it too! I tried freezing it as is in popsicle molds and Clay still

wouldn't eat it. Maybe adding honey would help it. Have you considered trying

to return it to the store? I get mine at Wild By Nature on Long Island and they

take just about anything back without a hassle, even if its open and even if its

just because you don't like it.

Robbie,

My kids like it if I mix it with a little grape juice and then add

water. Or water it down significantly. The Just Juice line is very

strongly flavored. I think all of us have become accustomed to

drinking watered down juices that are from concentrates and reconstituted.

What about smoothies or putting it in frozen yoghurt?

Sorbet might be good, but you would need to add honey and maybe a little cherry

extract?

Yes, my kids don't like it so much as juice either, but will eat it in

jello. The Just Pomegranate we have the opposite problem, they like it

as juice but not the jello. Go figure!
