Hi Janice -

I know... and I gave it to our guy anyways! Us beginner SCDers need to

sleep! I think there is some conflicting info about the melatonin, but

if Jody says its ok then... woohoo! And stevia (used by compounding

pharmacies in some prescription meds is ok for a short period of time

if absolutely necessary). Stevia is listed as illegal, too.

Lynn - mommy to Cameron 3.9 (ASD) and Mia Jean (20 months)

Why not take methyl B12 instead it works better then melatonin in that it

actually helps to reset the natural sleep rhythm

We've been using MB12 for several months. It is not very magical for

my sons. I'm hoping this diet will be.

Actually melatonin was highly recommended for all of the ASD kids at

the recent DAN! conference. Even for those without sleep issues. I

am drawing a blank right now, but it provides the precursor for

something the kids are deficient in...

I'll have to look through my notes to get the details.
