Subject: Re: Re: NEED HELP PLEASE!!!! Hi Everyone, I need you to do me a HUGE favor. My mom lives in PA and I am in SC. She is so worried about me having the surgery and she gets so sick when she worries. I have tried and tried and tried to explain it to her as well as beg her to come to Durham with me and she is too scared. Of course, everyone around home has been telling her nightmare storeies of Other Weight Loss procedures. I need Everyone that can possibly take the time to just write a note about what it is like to live a Fat life and How you feel after the surgery, and comparisons to other surgeries that She can understand. I am sending her the manuel (which I already read to her) I just promised her I would send letters from my friends on the list that have had the surgery. She knows that it is not a quick answer, she understands that it will be hard, but she is sooooooooo worried and I want to try to just reassure her that it is OK. Please help me, I love her and I don't want her to be sick because of something I decided to do. I guess I am not so great at explaining things. LINDA you are EASY to understand. PLEASE!! I will owe you!! Thanks I love you all really! Thanksssssssssssssssss in Advance?? xoxoxoxox Margie JULY26th!!! ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ >> Hi Margie, I hope I can help you out. I can understand how your mother feels. I too felt like that when my sister was about to have her mgb. It is so hard when you live far apart, I live in PA and my sister is from NC. I knew deep in my heart my sister had to have surgery to stay healthy because her health was failing. Well needless to say she did fantastic and after she did so well it got me thinking - after I met the Dr.when I took her for her checkup. Well, six months later I had the MGB, and happy I made the decision for myself. I feel great. Good luck and your mother will be happy for you.
