Somebody needed it in email form earlier because they couldn't read the word version, so after converting it to text and suitable for email, I figured it would be a good idea just to post it. This schedule was devised to work around the Carafate, which has to be taken one hour before and after any food is eaten, so you are literally planning your whole day around it. I have an alternate proposal, and that is to take the first Carafate on waking up (to coat the stomach), then an hour later, eat and take the multivitamin and prilosec (the 7:30 items) then basically follow it for the rest of the day. ============================================================== Meds & Supplements to start 2 weeks after surgery. NOTE: Actigall has been added. The Carafate & Prilosec 2 more weeks 7:30 a.m. 1 multivitamin (One Source - Wal Mart) 1 Prilosec (take for one month after surgery 8:30 a.m. Vitamin E (400 units) Creatine 7500 mg. (1 & 1/2 scoops) in 4oz. Vitamin A (10,000 units) take Liquid for 1 week then change to 10,000 units & take as long as you take vitamins. Citrucel 1tsp in liquid. Mix the Citrucel & Creatine together. Tums - 2 chew well 10:00 a.m. Carafate 2 tsp. (take for one month and then discontinue. 10:30 a.m. Creatine 7500 mg (1 & 1/2 scoops) in liquid. Citrucel 1tbsp. in liquid 11:30 a.m. Carafate 2 tsp. On empty stomach (take for 1 month then discontinue) 12:00 noon Vitamin E (400 units) Whey 1 tbsp. With yogurt. 1 Atigall (with yogurt) start 2 weeks after surgery. Glutamine 1/2 tsp. with yogurt. Mix whey & glutamine together 1:00 p.m. Carafate 2 tsp. On empty stomach (take for 1 mth.) 2:30 p.m. Vitamin E (400 units) Citrucel 1 tsp in liquid Tums - 2 chew well Creatine 1 & 1/2 scoops in liquid mix with 1 multi-vitamin together in liquid 4:30 p.m. Tums - 2 chew well Whey 1 tbsp. In yogurt 1 multi-vitamin 1 Atigall Glutamine 1/2 tsp. In yogurt. Mix both together in yogurt 6:30 p.m. Carafate 2 tsp. on empty stomach (take for 1 month) Evening Tums - 2 at bedtime, chew well Notes: You can purchase the Whey & Glutamine at your nearest GNC Store (Both are powders). Mix together with yogurt. You can purchase the Citrucel & Creatine Powder and the ONE Source at your local Wal-Mart. Mix together with fluid ie. Orange Juice or any other 100% juice.
