I don't know for sure, but my guess is that it is. When my daughter was on

prescription

drugs for intestinal yeast (probably ketaconazole (spelling?)) a few years ago,

her pinkie

toe nails finally started to grow and got a little closer to a normal thickness

(they were very

thick pre-treatment and NEVER grew). I thought that the problem was solved, but

of

course not, after awhile the nails reverted back to how they were originally (as

did her

gut).

I will be watching the nails now to see if they change now that I've started my

daughter on

SCD. (I think of them as a free yeast test!)

I did see nail fungus listed w/ yeast symptoms in the latest DAN!

Book.

This happened to my mother also (both at the same time)....Sadly to say after

years of being misdiagnosed died from the respiratory complications (that Dr.

Hass M.S. refers to in BTVC book) that go with undiagnosed Celiac Disease.
