I had severe bi-polar issues twenty years ago which manifested in extreme manic

and

depressive epsiodes. Then I was keptt on lithium for sixteen years and with

dreadful side

effects, extreme weight gain, hair loss and hand tremors. Shortly before

starting SCD the

Lithium was discontinued gradually under medical supervision. I have been

emotionally

rock solid since adopting the SCD diet six years ago.

When the gut is sick and the brain in under nourished thanks to malabsorption;

mental illness, autism and many horrible consequences, physiological and

psychological problems are a result. Once the vicious cycle is stopped, some

have beautiful results. They no longer suffer as bad, or at all.
