Since you had been successfully using the goat yogurt without any ear

infections, I am not sure that you need to leave it out.

If he goes on antibiotics for the ear infection, his gut is going to lose what

good bacteria it currently has. The yogurt will really help to replenish the

good bacteria.

Have you tried some of the natural things that were posted a few weeks ago

that parents have found to be useful to treat ear infections WITHOUT using

antibiotics?

If it is that bad, perhaps you will have to use them, but maybe you can do the

natural things a lot with them and avoid having to have tubes put in. I've

never heard of tubes being put it because of one ear infection. Usually they

are put in for recurrent infections.

I have to agree with Jody. One of my daughters has had tubes twice, but both

times it was

after many (or even after many many) ear infections - NOT one ear infection!
