I had ETS surgery done. It abolished my social/embarrassment

blushing, which was my worst trigger. The surgery involves clamping

or cutting your T2 and sometimes T3 sympathetic nerves (I had

clamping done). It's chest surgery. I was in the hospital

overnight. I also had hyperhidrosis (hand sweating) and that was the

main reason for me getting the surgery. The extreme decrease in

social blushing is a nice side effect. I am really happy with that

part. Overall I am moderately happy with it. The only negative so

far is I think my nose flushes a tiny bit more easily to heat now,

but that is not nearly as big of a problem as the deep, intense

social blushing was before. Also, my hands are pretty dry - I have

to use moisturizer on them at least every other day. And, my lower

back sweats a tiny bit more than it used to - but no big deal at

all. There are risks, though, and I would NOT consider this surgery

unles you have intense blushing from social situations and have tried

everything (laser surgery, beta blockers, etc) - read in Dr. Nases

book. He gives a very good description and a stern warning.
