Guest guest
My name is Dawn Jester from beautiful, mountainous and scenic (HA!) Wichita, Kansas. I'm kind of new here--I've mostly just been reading the posts for the last couple of weeks. I, too, am obsessed with this surgery. It's almost all I can think/talk/dream about! I think my husband is getting a little tired of talking about it. Oh well, he's a great guy anyway and I understand! I submitted my patient information form on June 23 and have been working on my packet ever since. The only thing lacking is the letter from my doctor. I went to see her this morning and pointed out a few " typos. " She said she hadn't had time to read the transcribed letter yet, but wanted to make sure the letter was corrected before she gave it to me. So, I'll have to wait until Monday to mail it. I had really been hoping to send it fed ex today......oh well! I found out yesterday from Debbie at Dr. R's office that they never received my June 23 patient information form. I told her that I had printed a copy and asked if I could fax it. She said that the form needs to come directly from the internet because it's loaded directly into Dr. R's database. I thought....no problem, I can re-enter two pages worth of info real quickly. Boy was I surprised to find out the form was now 8 PAGES LONG!!!! Needless to say, it took quite a bit longer than I anticipated. I sent the new form late yesterday afternoon. I am desperately hoping my insurance (The New England Financial and One Health Plan) quickly approves the surgery! I'd love to have the surgery in August sometime. Has anybody had any experience with The New England/One Health Plan? Gosh, I'm so sorry to ramble on and on. It just feels good to " get connected " with you guys! I'd love to talk to any of you. If you're interested, let me know! Also, I've tried using the Chat room and it doesn't seem to work--is it something I'm doing? Again, sorry for the length of the post! Hope you all have great weekends! Dawn
