Guest guest
Hey Genz Sweetie, Tell Randy anytime he is in our neck of the woods the door is open! I found a new trick, I sit everyone down at the table bless the food and then I get up and grab things that are needed this takes up time and I get exercise. I feel good except the blood clots in my arm, I went to the ER this morning only to hear disappointing news. But hey IM alive and full of energy (if I don't take the pain pills). My pictures of all of us at dinner turned out crummy how about yours? It bummed me out. Well, i have to run I will chat more later OXOX Trisha
Guest guest
Trish, What happened at the ER????? Did you go for your arm and the blood clots???? I still have bruising at my IV site and it's been almost 6 weeks. Let me know what the news is.....I'm praying for you. I must confess that I haven't taken the time to get my photos developed. I'll be out tomorrow trying to find my Pokeno gift for tomorrow night ( the theme is berries) so I'll drop them off then if I can remember to take them.....ha..ha Let me know how your arm is...you have me worried!!!!!! Guest guest
Pokeno? I haven't heard that word in years. I used to belong to a Pokeno club about 18 years ago in Louisiana. Where do you live. Is it a club you are in? Just curious. Dinah in Alabama > > > Hey Genz Sweetie, > > Tell Randy anytime he is in our neck of the woods the > > door is open! Guest guest
Genz, I used to play Bunko, We did similar things, everyone brought food, and we won prizes. I think I was going to way to many functions with all that naughty food, Somewhere along the road I started eating it all and whenever I wanted. That is whenI started and gained the weight. I have a functin coming up at my house this week, I have decided to serve all healthy foods. I don't think they will notice..LOL It will be just as yummy and good for them. Im happy you have sucha fun outlet. Smooch to you Doll Trisha
Guest guest
Hi Dinah, I've been in my Pokeno group for about six years now. I live in Keller, Texas which is a suburb of Fort Worth. It's a lot of fun....lots of fine wine and snacks and desserts. The problem is of course no wine or desserts since surgery. Actually I've never liked the wine anyway.....but the desserts....that's another story!!!!! I just take my own refreshments with me....watermelon and gatorade..ha...ha... There are ten ladies in our group and it's very much like a support group. We play pokeno, win gifts, talk about family and work issues and just enjoy each others company. We play once a month and we each take a turn hosting the game and the hostess chooses the theme. Maybe you should start a group where you live, it's a good way to get away from the guys in our lives for a few hours..... :-) Bye, Genz dinah@... wrote: > Pokeno? I haven't heard that word in years.
