YAY Dena!!!!!!! I am so happy for you. Yes. This surgery works, and it is

hard to believe until it happens to you. I still enjoy whatever I want...I

just can only eat small amounts! And I eat less now than I did one month

post op. I guess that scar tissue has finally formed, and allows only small

amounts at a time. What peace I feel knowing I can eat a small amount, feel

full, feel GREAT, and lose weight.

You're doing great. Hang in there! It just keeps getting better and

better!

I went to the doctor today to have staples removed. I weighed 336.

When I had surgery on the 12th of July I weighed in at 355. This is

unbelievable. I feel fine. All my aches and pains are gone. The acid

reflux and the stress incontinence is gone. The most important thing

is , that insane drive to eat and eat and eat, is gone. People, tell

me this will last. I have read every post written in the last two

months, but having this happen to me is so different than reading

about it.It is truly a miracle.

Hi, Dena.

I believe that you were at the July 11th clinic. I was there with my

ten year old son. I am so glad to hear that you are doing well and

have lost so much. Most of all, I am glad to hear that your

co-morbids

are improving so quickly. I suffer from severe acid reflux every

minute of every day, and can't wait until mine is improved. I am

still

waiting for insurance approval, but hope things will go through this

time. Congratulations!
