Well I am not an SCD expert but I have a vast experience in other dietary

changes..with kids on the spectrum.. It may be die off of which you may wish

to use charcoal or Alka seltzer Gold..to absorb the toxins..

I have implemented dietary changes in both my kids and when they started 8

yrs ago.. They went down the drain so to speak for a bit withdrawels ,die off

and in some kids cases they get yeast issues...It's hard to say which..but I do

remember my kids not looking good at all and regressing.. This is actually a

good sign IMO>>As far as the egg goes.. I don't think it would be the toal

culprit here but I would never say never..so If child has egg issues it might be

advisable to not use it..I am sure some other SCD people will chime in soon

and maybe add to feedback for you... Kids often regress when implemewnting

dietary changes..Can take a month to come around..just an FYI...

responding well? His BMs seem okay in the last two days. It is so, so

frustrating. My son has regressed and I am depressed.

would turn out unless I put in an egg (especially pancakes).

To whom it may concern,

Make sure Alka seltzer gold is " legal " and SCD safe.......I know pure activated

charcoal is, can buy them in capsules. Also try Epson Salt soaks in warm

tub...this helped us much. Die off is not fun...feels like the flu...but worse

in many ways !
