Spray it in the air and right into the toilet. Also, flush the second it hits the pot, and then again later after you've had time to wipe. These are not little friendly farts. I'm going to get some Gas-x and see if that helps. The only time I get the trots like you are describing is after a meal with a lot of fat, like some deep-fried chicken. The less fat I eat, the less trouble I have with that. I keep track of food intake and the various values of the foods over on dietwatch.com. Some foods are low fat that I never considered would be and other foods have an astonishingly high fat content. I got an interesting post tonight from another lady on the list that suggested that a lot of overweight people have yeast infections in their intestines (which also for some reason slows down weight loss, which is the biggest problem I'm having right now) and that a prescription for diflucan may help, so I am going to try that and see if it works. Another lady also suggested that burning a match in the bathroom will get rid of smells ('course, then people will be thinking you've been sneaking smokes in the bathroom which may not be a good idea for you since you are a teacher.) But matches are easier to carry around than a can of lysol. If you find a solution, please be sure to post it to the list!!! Hugs,
Guest guest
Well, today is my 3 month anniversary, and as of today I've lost 55 pounds. So, being " stinky " is a small price to pay :0) > But how is your weight loss? LOL..seriously I do want to know! This could be > a problem for me since I hope to be dating again soon...LOL! Guest guest
Just a suggestion.. Bath and Body Works make small bottles of air fresheners that fit nicely in a purse. Just one squirt and the room will smell beautifully!! I keep a small bottle in my car to keep it fresh smelling, but it sounds like after surgery I may have another use for it!! in MI
Guest guest
Hi , I am 10 months post op and I would have to say that you are stuck with the " Stinky " permanently. Certain foods do tend to make it worse, such as things that have more fat in them than we should have. Just keep a pack of matches with you. They really do work, better than air freshener I think, and not to mention cheaper! Don't worry about it. My grandmother used to say, " He thinks his ---- don't stink! Guess what, everybodies ---- does stink! I personally think it's a small price to pay for all the other bennies you get from the MGB. You are definately not alone in this. I think this is the rule rather than the exception. My husband actually teases me about it since we got our boxer pup. They also have a reputation for " flatulence " , and he says Sarge is just like his mother....that's ok, I love my sweety and we're both happy and healthy!
