Hey Sue!

This sounds EXACTLY like my son . . . pre-SCD difficulties and post-SCD

improvements. 's Sunday School teacher gave me the very same unsolicited

feedback one morning, and I cried right then and there with thankfulness. I had

really been having a hard time because of family criticizing what we were doing

with our kids (they think the diet isn't healthy . . . whatever!). And when I

would say that we were seeing improvements with the kids, I was told that I was

going to see " improvement " where I wanted to see " improvement. " So when this

teacher gave me the same unsolicited observations, I was so thankful to finally

be validated that I just cried and cried. The poor thing didn't know what she

had done and didn't know how to react to my outburst until I explained I was

crying because I was so grateful that someone else saw what I was seeing.

Hugs for you!

My son's progress

Hi everyone,

I got an unsolicited email from my 6 year old son's teacher. She said he had

a great day in school. He participated in their " talk " about Spring. He raised

his hand a lot. He was able to stay on topic. He would raise his hand, and

answer the question right (rather than close to the topic, but not the actual

answer). He was able to write two sentences about the topic! Most of all she was

really impressed with how aware and in tune he is!!!! I keep thanking God in

prayer for this.

Sue
