Guest guest
Hi! I am trying to plan for the coming months on the SCD diet. We are looking forward to adding nuts and lentils and vegetable and fruit juices ( raw) in about 8 weeks. I am also planning to make snacks to go with his school lunch. I have spent most nights and weekends in the last month trying to figure out his every next meal. After a 3.5 hr commute to work and a typical 8-10 hour work day, I am not able to keep up with the time required for cooking and reading on this list. I am finding that we do not have some essential tools in the kitchen. Could the mothers and the few dads on this list recommend what brands I should look at for the following items. Juicer Nut, lentil grinder Yogurt maker Bread maker and any other tool that will make my life easy. I will be acquiring a freezer to be able to store the bulk food that I will be cooking in the coming months. So far, I have had a lot of luck, I have managed to convince a 3 year old, to eat the stuff I cook. He is responding very well, despite my shortcomings in the cooking area. I need to make more time to do some ABA sessions with him, hence the need to be more efficient with the cooking. Right now, mom is doing all the ABA work and will need assistance. I took over the cooking, only because I was able to fit it into my schedule. Do, the mothers on this list recommend that my wife should be on the SCD diet as well, I have suggested it, but want her to make the decision herself. We greatly appreciate any ideas/input. Best Wishes Srini (dad), Anuraag (3) SCD week5
